Broking terms often appear in charterparty recaps, sometimes these short phrases or sets of letters have vital importance in our client's matters, determining the transfer of certain liabilities between parties. 

Through our experience of dealing with shipowners, charterers and brokers, we have drafted a short list of common (and not so common) chartering terms, which we hope you may find useful.
