Background
Alex trained and qualified at Jackson Parton and in September 2016 became one of the partners at the firm.
Area of practice
He specialises in dispute resolution with a particular focus on shipping and international trade.
Alex has acted on behalf of a broad range of international clients including ship owners, charterers, P&I Clubs and commodity traders across a variety of matters.
Recent work has involved litigation and arbitration (Gafta and LMAA) concerning sale of goods and various aspects of both wet and dry shipping, particularly charterparty and bill of lading disputes. He also has experience in marine insurance and ship sale and purchase matters.
