Assistant Solicitor William Jackson
William trained at Jackson Parton and qualified as a solicitor in October 2014. He has experience across many aspects of shipping law.
Area of practice
William has particular interest in both wet and dry shipping. Most recently he has been involved in charter party and bill of lading disputes relating to cargo claims arising out of West Africa. Since qualifying, he has represented clients in marine insurance matters, unsafe port issues and piracy.
William is a volunteer for Oceans Beyond Piracy, an independent non-profit organisation that looks to develop a response to maritime piracy worldwide.
He is an accomplished sailor, regularly attending competitions around the UK and abroad. He also enjoys skiing and squash.
